Bài viết phân tích vai trò của hình khối, ánh sáng và tương tác không gian trong việc chuyển hóa Tháp Tam Thắng, Vũng Tàu từ một công trình điêu khắc công cộng thành điểm trải nghiệm du lịch. Dựa trên dữ liệu phỏng vấn định tính 40 mẫu, nghiên cứu cho thấy công trình tạo nhận diện thị giác, kéo dài trải nghiệm buổi tối và kích hoạt các hành vi dừng lại, chụp ảnh, chia sẻ, sử dụng dịch vụ lân cận. Kết quả nhấn mạnh, giá trị kinh tế du lịch của công trình chủ yếu nằm ở tác động gián tiếp thông qua thời gian lưu lại, hoạt động ban đêm và tiêu dùng xung quanh. Trên cơ sở đó, nghiên cứu đề xuất một số hàm ý nhằm tăng cường khai thác giá trị của nghệ thuật công cộng trong phát triển du lịch, thông qua hoàn thiện hệ thống diễn giải văn hóa, nâng cấp tiện ích công cộng và phát triển các hoạt động kinh tế ban đêm gắn với không gian đô thị.
