Cùng với sự phát triển mạnh mẽ của khoa học công nghệ và xu hướng toàn cầu hóa, các hoạt động logistics từ sản xuất đến tiêu dùng ngày càng đóng vai trò quan trọng đối với khả năng cạnh tranh của các doanh nghiệp trong ngành sản xuất và dịch vụ và đối với toàn bộ nền kinh tế. Việt Nam là một trong bốn quốc gia Đông Nam Á có tiềm năng lớn để phát triển cả cơ sở hạ tầng và hệ thống logistics. Một kế hoạch hành động nhằm nâng cao năng lực cạnh tranh và phát triển dịch vụ logistics đã được ban hành tại Việt Nam, với tầm nhìn đến năm 2025, cho thấy sự quan tâm của Chính phủ đối với ngành Logistics. Trong đó, nguồn nhân lực đang được xem là một trong những vấn đề nan giải nhất của ngành Logistics, do vừa thiếu, vừa chưa được đào tạo bài bản. Do đó, bài viết này nghiên cứu thực trạng nguồn nhân lực ngành Logistics ở Việt Nam, đồng thời phân tích những nguyên nhân của hạn chế và tồn tại. Bên cạnh đó, bài viết cũng đề xuất các giải pháp phát triển nguồn nhân lực để nâng cao năng lực cạnh tranh của ngành Logistics Việt Nam trong chuỗi dịch vụ toàn cầu.
