Singapore's law system and some recommendations for the process of promulgating and enforcing laws in Vietnam

Abstract
Singapore, one of the smallest countries in Southeast Asia, is a developed economy with a stable political environment and a high level of citizen compliance with laws. The country's success is in large part thanks to the country's strong emphasis on building and implementing an effective legal system. This paper presents an overview on Singapore legal provisions, analyzes and draws necessary lessons about this country's law system. Based on the paper's findings, some recommendations are made for the process of promulgating and enforcing laws in Vietnam.
