Abstract
Cordyceps Fungi (Cordyceps militaris) has long become one of the high-class medicinal mushrooms that have many valuable biological active components to help improve human health, enhance immunity, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cardiovascular support and anti-tumor. In which, cordycepin and adenosine are two important biologically active compounds that determine the quality and pharmacological value of Cordyceps militaris. This study examines the extraction method of Cordycepin and Adenosine in the fruiting body of the Cordyceps militaris and explores the factors affecting the extraction including temperature, ratio of solid to liquid, extraction time, and number of extraction. In addition, the contents of Cordycepin and Adenosine of the freeze-dried method are evaluated. The study’s results show that water can be used as a solvent to effectively extract Cordycepin and Adenosine from fruiting body of Cordyceps mushroom when the mushroom is soaked in boiling water, the ratio of solid to liquid is at 10/200g/mL, and the extraction time is 20 minutes. The contents of Cordycepin and Adenosine are 427mg/kg and 67mg/kg in fresh ingredients, respectively. In freeze-dried Cordyceps militaris, the contents of Cordycepin and Adenosine are 2318.9mg/kg and 351.4mg/kg, respectively.
