Tác động của dịch COVID-19 đến lợi nhuận thị trường chứng khoán: Tiếp cận theo mô hình hồi quy chuyển đổi Markov

Mục đích của bài viết này là phân tích tác động của dịch Covid-19 đến lợi nhuận của thị trường chứng khoán Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (HOSE). Nghiên cứu này sử dụng dữ liệu chuỗi thời gian theo ngày, khảo sát từ ngày 31/01/2020 đến ngày 19/08/2021. Sử dụng phương pháp phân tích mô hình hồi quy chuyển đổi Markov (Markow Switch-MS), nghiên cứu đã chỉ ra sự tồn tại 2 trạng thái trên thị trường chứng khoán HOSE. Nhìn chung, lợi nhuận bình quân thị trường giảm trong cả hai trạng thái, nhưng trạng thái 1 có sự biến động lớn hơn. Bên cạnh đó, kết quả nghiên cứu cũng cho thấy dịch Covid-19 ảnh hưởng tích cực lên thị trường chứng khoán HOSE trên cả hai trạng thái thị trường.
