Some time series forecasting and analysis methods for golf companies

Golf companies and also companies in other fields often use data analysis and forecasting software such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI with different chart types to plan and compare business data. Qualitative forecasting methods are based on sensory perception and guesswork is based on experiences with the use of mathematical and statistical methods. Time series forecasting methods are often used to forecast the future demand. There are popular approaches for business forecasting such as regression models, machine learning models, expert models, and time series forecasting models. In this paper, a time series analysis model is developed by using the regression equation over time, the trend function and the quarterly fluctuations in the year in accordance to the exponential function. Good forecasts will help managers develop effective business strategies and new services to increase the revenue of golf companies.
