Applying technological advancements in the arbitration in the US and lessons learned for Vietnam

Abstract

Disputes in international trade are increasing in terms of number and complexity while cost constraints are still strict and the time limit for dispute settlement is still long. The application of technological advancements is one of effective solutions to accelerate and facilitate theinternational trade dispute settlement. Technological advancements can make arbitration more accessible, faster and less costly. This paper presents the application of technological advancements in the arbitration in the US, and identifies the applied technological advancements and lessons leanred for Vietnam in the application of technological advancements.
