Temporary suspension of labor contracts under the Labor Code 2019

Abstract
During the performance of the labor contract, it is likely that the employee has to suspend the labor contract for a certain period of time in some specific cases which are permitted by laws or agreed by the emloyee. This paper analyzes current provisions on temporary suspension of labor contracts under the Labor Code 2019 of Vietnam and makes some recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of thes provisions.
