Legal experiences in land management of some countries

Abstract
Land is a valuable resource in all countries. Governments always seek to enhance the effectiveness of laws on land management. This paper introduces land management regulations and policies of some countries including regulations on land planning, ownership and compensation. Based on the paper’s findings, some recommendations are made to improve the current legal framework and land management mechanism of Vietnam
