Legal Provisions on Fines for Breach of Commercial Contract Under Vietnam’s Laws

Abstract
Fines for breach of contract is a monetary sanction, and it is widely applied to all contract violations. Fines for breach of contract are a tough sanction and their function is mainly to punish and prevent contract violations, increasing respect for the law in general and the law of contracts in particular. This paper analyzes the legal provisions on fines for breach of contract, and proposes some solutions to complete provisions on fines for breach of commercial contract.
