Determining regulations governing the form of sales contracts with foriegn elements

Abstract
Vietnam’s Civil Code 2015 affirms the principle of freedom of contract which allows individuals and groups freely choose regulations for contracts with foreign elements, including issues related to the form of contract for sale and purchase of goods with foreign elements. So, in order to exercise this right, what are conditions that the parties of the contract need to comply to? Is this right an absolute right, and how will conflicts related to the determination of regulations governing the form of sales contract with foreign elements be resolved? This paper is to clarify issues related to the determination of regulations governing the form of sales contracts with foreign elements.
