Completing the legal provisions on the tasks and powers of the Chairman of the National Assembly

The National Assembly is the people's highest representative body and it is also the most powerful state organization of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The National Assembly plays an extremely important role in the Vietnamese political system. In particular, the Chairman of the National Assembly is the head of the National Assembly Standing Committee. Duties and powers of the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam are stipulated in the Constitution and the current Law on Organization of the National Assembly. Completing the legal provisions on the tasks and powers of the National Assembly in general and the Chairman of the National Assembly in particular are two of the important requirements in perfecting the political apparatus in Vietnam.
