The social security system for the elderly of Japan and legal implications for Vietnam

Abstract
Population aging is a global phenomenon and older persons are increasing in number. This phenomenon impacts the socio-economic development of all countries in the world including Japan. Japan’s social security system for the elderly is fairly successful. This paper analyzes the social security system for the elderly of Japan to draw experiences and legal implications for Vietnam’s social security system for the elderly.
