South Korea’s law on consumer protection in e-commerce and lessons learnt for Vietnam

Abstract
Along with the strong development of e-commerce, the acts of violating consumer interests in e-commerce have tended to increase, and to be more sophisticated and serious. In order to effectively protect the interests of consumers in e-commerce, it is necessary to create a legal environment that is suitable for the characteristics of e-commerce. This paper analyzes South Korea’s law on consumer protection in e-commerce in order to gain lessons learnt for the development of e-commerce in Vietnam.
