Some opinions on the principle of compensation for damage caused by harm to an individual's honor, dignity and reputation

In today's society, the problem of being violated in honor, dignity and prestige is not a new issue but has existed for a long time. In the era of undeveloped information technology, people often directly contact with people, offend each other by using uncultured, delicate and obscene words to curse, scold, insult, and insult the honor, dignity and prestige of the other party. The violated person is not only negatively affected physically and mentally, along with that, the psychological state of the offended person when reading malicious comments online will become negative, many suicides will happen. The death of the victim when being attacked online is also one of the consequences that will occur if no measures are taken to prevent this phenonmenons. Within the scope of this article, the authors analyze the principle of compensation for damage caused harm to an individual's honor, dignity and reputation, according to the provisions of the Civil Code 2015, the applying the principle in practice and recommendations for improvement.
