Experiences of China and Russia in implementing the equitization of their transportation state-owned enterprises and lessons learnt for Vietnam

The equitization of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) contributes to eliminating inefficient businesses, creating a competitive environment and a driving force for business development. This process also increases the ability to mobilize capital for SOEs and facilitate SOEs to overcome their shortcomings. This paper analyzes experiences of China and Russia in implementing the equitization of their transportation state-owned enterprises, thereby drawing lessons learnt for Vietnam.
