Du lịch nông nghiệp tạo ra cơ hội việc làm cho các thành viên trong gia đình của nông hộ, thúc đẩy đa dạng háo các hoạt động nông trại và các nguồn thu nhập và giảm sự phụ thuộc vào tự nhiên của nông hộ. Nghiên cứu này tiến hành khảo sát trực tiếp 450 hộ nông dân ở đồng bằng sông Cửu Long và sử dụng phân tích hồi quy Binary Logistic. Kết quả cho thấy, các yếu tố ảnh hưởng bao gồm: Chính sách hỗ trợ của chính quyền địa phương; Tham gia các hiệp hội nông dân, đoàn thể, câu lạc bộ khuyên công; Cảm nhận lợi ích đem lại; Mô hình sản xuất đa dạng; Tiếp cận Internet; Trình độ học vấn; Tham gia các hiệp hội du lịch, tổ chức du lịch; Khoảng cách từ nhà đến trung tâm thương mại gần nhất; Thu nhập nông hộ; Độ tuổi chủ hộ.
