Nghiên cứu nhằm khám phá cách thức kỹ năng mềm (SK) ảnh hưởng đến khả năng được tuyển dụng (EMP) dưới góc nhìn của sinh viên sau khi tốt nghiệp từ khối ngành kinh tế. Kết hợp Lý thuyết các bên liên quan và Lý thuyết tín hiệu, nghiên cứu xem xét vai trò trung gian của sự phù hợp với doanh nghiệp (OF) ảnh hưởng trong cơ chế giữa kỹ năng mềm và khả năng tuyển dụng. Kết quả cho thấy, cơ chế tác động trung gian toàn phần, tức là kỹ năng mềm ảnh hưởng gián tiếp đến khả năng được tuyển dụng thông qua sự phù hợp với doanh nghiệp thay vì trực tiếp. Từ đó, nghiên cứu gợi ý các cơ sở giáo dục cần chú trọng nâng cao nhận thức và phát triển khả năng nhận diện, đồng thời truyền tải tín hiệu về sự phù hợp tổ chức cho người học, nhằm giúp họ chuẩn bị tốt hơn trước các yêu cầu ngày càng khắt khe của thị trường lao động.
