Exploring green consumption trends among students in Binh Duong province
Published: July 29, 2026
Abstract
This study investigates the factors influencing green consumption trends among students and proposes strategies to encourage such behavior. Drawing on global theories of green consumption, the research develops a theoretical model comprising five key factors expected to impact students’ green consumption in Binh Duong. Using qualitative methods, including focus group discussions and a survey of 283 students, the study tests the proposed model. The findings identify four main factors that significantly influence students’ green consumption trends: environmental concern, consumption efficiency, health considerations, and price sensitivity. Based on these insights, the study offers practical recommendations to foster greener consumption habits among students.
