Published: July 29, 2026
Abstract
This study investigates the determinants of entrepreneurial intentions among students at Thanh Dong University. Specifically, it examines the influence of four critical factors: (1) entrepreneurial knowledge, (2) individual competency, (3) access to financial capital, and (4) environmental conditions. The research adopts a quantitative survey methodology, targeting second-year students enrolled in the Entrepreneurship course offered by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Descriptive statistical methods are employed to analyze the collected data. The results offer insights into how educational, personal, and contextual variables shape students’ motivations to engage in entrepreneurial activities. This study contributes to the broader discourse on youth entrepreneurship in higher education, and provides practical implications for educators and policymakers aiming to foster entrepreneurial ecosystems within academic institutions.
