Examining the Impact of Perceived Investment Risk on Financial Investment Intention of Gen Z

Tóm tắt

This study explores the influence of perceived investment risks on the financial investment intentions of Vietnamese Generation Z, focusing on five dimensions: economic, functional, psychological, social, and time risks. Employing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) on data from 251 valid responses, the findings reveal that economic risk significantly impacts investment intentions, while functional, psychological, social, and time risks exhibit no significant effects. These results underscore the prominence of economic considerations in shaping Generation Z’s investment behavior, offering valuable insights for policymakers and financial institutions aiming to engage this demographic effectively.
