Juvenile Justice Law: International Experience and Recommendations for Vietnam

Abstract
Vietnam has consistently made efforts to protect the rights of minors. However, the legal provisions addressing this group are currently fragmented across various laws and regulations. The absence of a unified legal framework hinders the consistent and comprehensive protection of minors' rights. To enhance the effectiveness of judicial processes and safeguard minors' rights more effectively, Vietnam should explore international best practices and consider establishing a dedicated law on juvenile justice. This would ensure a more coherent and robust approach to protecting the rights of minors in the country.
