Trong những năm gần đây, tiền kỹ thuật số (KTS) của Ngân hàng Trung ương (NHTW), gọi tắt là tiền KTS NHTW đã nhận được nhiều sự quan tâm và được coi như một chính sách, lựa chọn tiềm năng đối với các NHTW, như một giải pháp giúp thúc đẩy tài chính toàn diện, giảm chi phí giao dịch, giảm thời gian thanh toán và mang lại sự ổn định cho hệ thống tài chính. Nghiên cứu này sẽ làm rõ cơ sở lý thuyết và vai trò của tiền KTS NHTW trong nền kinh tế.
