Regulations on the community consultation during the implementation of environmental impact assessment according to the 2020 Law on Environmental Protection and its guiding documents

Abstract
Consultation is the process of exchanging, sharing and supporting the person in need of consultation to understand the nature of the problem and come up with the optimal solution. Community consultation is an indispensable activity in the process of environmental impact assessment. The community consultation’s results are important information for investors to research and come up with solutions to minimize the impacts of projects on the environment and complete their environmental impact assessment. This paper analyzes the regulations on the community consultation during the implementation of the environmental impact assessment according to the 2020 Law on Environmental Protection and its guiding documents.
