Vietnam's laws on multimodal transport business conditions

The burgeoning growth of multimodal transport in Vietnam has necessitated timely legal adaptations to accommodate its expanding role in the economy. While significant progress has been made, the current legal framework governing multimodal transport business conditions exhibits certain shortcomings that warrant attention. This study analyzed and evaluated the existing Vietnamese laws pertaining to multimodal transport, identifying areas for improvement. The study proposed specific recommendations, including amendments to relevant government decrees and the development of a standalone law dedicated to multimodal transport business conditions. These measures aimed to enhance consistency, transparency, and the overall effectiveness of legal regulations governing this crucial economic activity.
