The operation and performance of district-level People's Committees in the urban government model in Ho Chi Minh City

This study aimed to adjust, supplement, and strengthen regulations on the organization and operation of local governments at all levels, focusing on the role and position of the People's Committee at the district level. This study discussed some characteristics of the district-level People's Committee in the urban government model in general through practical activities in Ho Chi Minh City. Based on the study's findings, some solutions were proposed to improve the operational efficiency of the People's Committee at the district level in the coming time.
