Some recommendations about the draft revised law on land

To review and identify inadequacies and shortcomings of the Law on Land 2023, this study analyzes and evaluates some unreasonable provisions in the Draft revised Law on Land in terms of its layout, including: (i) the order of chapters and sections; (ii) the content, such as issues about the order and procedures for withdrawal, the name on the certificate of land use rights, the legal terms, etc. Based on the paper’s analysis, some recommendations are made to adjust the contents of the Draft revised Law on Land. This paper is expected to improve the quality of the Draft revised Law on Land in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee.
