Perfecting Vietnam’s current legal system for the tourism industry’s sustainable development

Abstract
The legal system in general and the law on tourism in particular, have been amended and supplemented regularly. However, the current legal documents governing the tourism industry still need to be strengthened to meet the requirements of fast and sustainable growth. This paper presents an overview of Vietnam’s current laws on tourism, and points out the shortcomings and limitations of the current legal system in tourism. Based on the paper’s findings, some solutions are proposed to perfect Vietnam’s current legal system for the tourism industry’s sustainable development in the coming years.
