Abstract
RM IM lipozyme and TL IM lipozyme are used as catalyst for the acidolysis process between
lecithin and free medium chain fatty acids. After this process, the obtained modified lecithin’s
fatty acid is analyzed by using the gas chromatograph method, and the modified lecithin’s PC and
PE contents are analyzed by using the high performance liquid chromatograph method. All
selected fatty acids incorporated to lecithin. The highest content of fatt acid is 30.8 mol% that
obtained from the reaction of lauric acid with the use of RM IM as catalyst. This study also finds
out that RM IM lipozyme is more effective than TL IM lipozyme when it is used as a catalyst.
