Abstract
In this study, SiO2 with size 150-200 nm (TEM measurement results) is synthesized by using
the precipitation method with observations, such as: initial pH 1 and final pH 7, 1.5% glass
solution and drying temperature of 50oC. Waste glass is utilized to produce SiO2 material and this
process has practical scientific significance and socio-economic benefits. This process is cheap,
safe and environmentally friendly.
