Abstract

Gender equality is one of the goals that most countries in the world are aiming for. When equity and equality are enhanced, society will be more stable, so the role of the state is to create an equal environment for everyone to develop in many fields. In Vietnam, women have participated in political activities from a very early age and have promoted their roles in many important fields. However, up to now, gender stereotypes are still a real problem of society and create great inequalities between men and women in many fields, including politics. Therefore, this study analyzes and clarifies the impact of gender stereotypes on women's participation in leadership and management. The study proposes effective solutions to improve the effectiveness of ensuring that Vietnamese women participate in leadership and management activities.
