Bài viết nghiên cứu khái niệm hành vi lên tiếng của người lao động, dựa trên việc hệ thống hóa một số công trình nghiên cứu tiêu biểu về khái niệm này một cách logic, có tính kết nối, từ đó, xác định một số thuộc tính quan trọng của khái niệm, bao gồm: (1) tên gọi hành vi; (2) chủ thể thực hiện hành vi; (3) đối tượng tiếp nhận thông điệp lên tiếng; (4) nội dung lên tiếng; (5) kênh lên tiếng; (6) hình thức biểu đạt nội dung lên tiếng; (7) động cơ, mục đích lên tiếng. Bài viết giúp nâng cao hiểu biết về hành vi lên tiếng của người lao động, góp phần mang lại lợi ích cho các tổ chức, nhà quản lý, người lao động, đồng thời, còn giúp các học giả, cũng như các đối tượng quan tâm tiết kiệm thời gian, công sức, dễ dàng hơn khi tiếp cận nghiên cứu về chủ đề này.
