Legal framework on circular economy - experiences for Vietnam

Abstract
Currently, the application of the circular economy model is an inevitable trend for countries worldwide to achieve sustainable development goals. This article analyzes the basic contents of the legal framework on the circular economy, including: (1) Legal regulations on waste management; (2) Legal regulations on support mechanisms; (3) Legal regulations on inspection and supervision; (4) Legal regulations on education and awareness-raising activities; (5) Legal regulations on international cooperation activities. The analyses and recommendations the aim to build and improve the legal framework on the circular economy in Vietnam, thereby, contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals and the realization of the National Strategy on Green Growth for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
