Bài viết sử dụng phương pháp nghiên cứu tại bàn và sử dụng dữ liệu thứ cấp để phân tích thực hành ESG tại các doanh nghiệp. Bài viết cũng đã tổng hợp các chỉ số đo lường ESG và dựa trên các thực nghiệm để đưa ra những nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến ESG. Khía cạnh quản trị được các doanh nghiệp Việt Nam quan tâm hơn khía cạnh môi trường và xã hội. Và những yêu cầu của đạo đức kinh doanh chịu sự tác động tới ESG. Khía cạnh kinh tế cũng cần được xem xét để thực hành ESG thành công.
