FACTORS AFFECTING THE INTENTION OF STUDENTS IN HO CHI MINH CITY TO USE SHOPEEFOOD

Abstract

In the current era, technology plays an important role in the country's development, especially in the field of food and beverage industry. Online food delivery applications like ShopeeFood have changed the shopping habits of Vietnamese consumers, especially students in Ho Chi Minh City. This study explored the factors affecting the intention of students in Ho Chi Minh City to use ShopeeFood. The study’s results showed that there are six major factors impacting this intention, including usefulness, ease of use, price, trust, attitude and promotion. In which, the factor of promotion has the strongest impact. Based on the TAM and TPB models, some management implications were made to help ShopeeFood attract more students in Ho Chi Minh City.
