Factors affecting the social entrepreneurial intentions of Vietnamese students
Published: July 27, 2026
Abstract
This study explored the factors influencing the social entrepreneurial intentions of Vietnamese students. In this study, a research model was developed based on the Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Results from 314 valid responses, which were analyzed through PLS-SEM, indicated that attitude is the most influential factor. The study also found that the social entrepreneurship intentions of Vietnamese students reflect influences from both individual factors and social impacts, as well as support from higher education institutions
