The principles of the Law on Protection of Consumers’ Rights

Abstract
As goods and services are increasingly traded regionally and internationally, the Law on Protection of Consumers’ Rights is receiving more attention. In Viet Nam, on June 20, 2023, the National Assembly passed the Law on Protection of Consumers’ Rights with 07 Chapters and 80 Articles. This paper analyzes this law’s general principles. The paper has three main contents: (1) Introduction to the concept of consumer rights protection principles; (2) The role of consumer rights protection principles; and (3) Content of consumer rights protection principles.
