A study on the impact of psychological capital and work motivation on the work engagement of employees in Ho Chi Minh City’s restaurant and food services industry

Abstract
This study determined the influence of psychological capital and work motivation on the work engagement of employees in Ho Chi Minh City’s restaurant and food services industry. The study’s results show that all four factors of psychological capital, including confidence, perseverance, hope, and optimism, have the same impact on work engagement. The work motivation factors have positive impacts on work engagement. The study also proposed some management implications that can be used to enhance the work engagement of employees in the restaurant and food services industry.
