Abstract
This study examines the effects of e-payment services and e-commerce on supply chain efficiency and open innovation among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. Data collected from 212 valid responses were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The results indicate that human resources, technological resources, awareness, cost savings, communication improvement, and marketplace performance positively influence long-term relationships within the supply chain. In addition, marketplace performance and long-term supply chain relationships are found to have positive effects on open innovation. Among the proposed factors, communication improvement and marketplace performance emerge as the strongest drivers in the model. The findings offer managerial implications for SMEs seeking to advance digital transformation and strengthen their competitive capabilities.
