The role of heat treatment in the mechanical manufacturing industry

Abstract

Heat treatment plays an important role in the mechanical manufacturing industry. This production method can be used to change the physical properties, chemical composition, and characteristics of materials in order to create higher-quality products. This paper presents the technical process of heat treatment and the role of heat treatment in mechanical processing. Heat treatment requires a strict and controlled process to manage time and heat exchange rate on the material, which sets new requirements for Vietnam’s mechanical manufacturing enterprises.
