Teaching students how to use PivotTable to prepare a cash flow statement using direct method

Abstract
PivotTable is a powerful data statistics tool of Excel. This easy-to-use tool helps us quickly calculate data with outstanding efficiency. This tool can be used to collect, organize, and study large blocks of data quickly. Especially, it helps accountants prepare cash flow statements more easily. This paper is to present how to use PivotTable to prepare a cash flow statement using direct method in the Financial Statement Preparation course.
