Protecting consumer rights in digital data services in Vietnam today: From theory to practice

Abstract
This study analyzes the theoretical foundations and current legal framework for protecting consumer rights in digital data services in Vietnam, focusing on legislation on data, consumer protection, and personal data protection. Based on an assessment of current regulations and enforcement practice, the study identifies several limitations and inadequacies in safeguarding consumer rights when using digital data services. It therefore proposes solutions to improve the legal framework and strengthen enforcement effectiveness in order to enhance consumer protection in digital data services in Vietnam.
