Digital nomadism has become increasingly prominent worldwide. With its natural landscapes, cultural diversity, and relatively affordable living costs, Vietnam has emerged as an attractive destination for digital nomads. However, despite growing scholarship on digital nomadism, research focusing on Vietnam remains limited. This exploratory study examines emerging trends and perceptions among digital nomads in Vietnam. Data were collected from Reddit posts and comments concerning digital nomad experiences in the country. The findings suggest that Vietnam holds a competitive position in the global digital nomad landscape. Nevertheless, improvements in regulatory frameworks and infrastructure could further strengthen its appeal as a long-term destination for remote workers.
