Abstract
In the context of deepening international economic integration, the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) has become an inevitable trend for enhancing the transparency, comparability, and reliability of financial information among Vietnamese enterprises. This paper examines the implementation of IFRS in Vietnam under Decision No. 345/QD-BTC (2020), assessing key achievements as well as existing difficulties and limitations in the adoption process. The findings indicate that while IFRS offers substantial benefits in terms of international integration and corporate governance, Vietnam continues to face significant challenges related to human resource capacity, the legal and regulatory framework, and the adequacy of accounting infrastructure.
