Abstract
The adoption of electronic invoices generated from cash registers represents a pivotal step in modernizing tax administration and advancing digital transformation among businesses, particularly in the trade and service sectors. This study examines the role, advantages, and current implementation status of cash register–based e-invoices, drawing on an analysis of regulatory frameworks and practical application. The findings indicate that this invoicing model enables tax authorities to monitor transactions in near real time while assisting enterprises in streamlining administrative procedures, reducing invoice issuance time, and minimizing operational errors. At the same time, the implementation process faces notable challenges related to technical infrastructure, implementation costs, and the capacity of small and micro-sized enterprises to adapt. Overall, the study provides a comprehensive assessment of the practical implications of cash register–based e-invoices in the context of tax digitalization and business modernization.
