Nghiên cứu này khám phá vai trò trung gian của niềm tin giữa sự giao tiếp, sự hài lòng và sự hợp tác trong mối quan hệ nhà sản xuất - nhà phân phối. Với phương pháp nghiên cứu kết hợp định tính và định lượng, khảo sát 298 nhà phân phối sản phẩm ngành nhựa ở khu vực TP. HCM. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy sự giao tiếp và sự hài lòng của nhà sản xuất ảnh hưởng tích cực đến niềm tin của nhà phân phối. Tiếp theo, niềm tin của nhà phân phối ảnh hưởng đến sự hợp tác của hai bên. Như vậy, niềm tin giữ vai trò trung gian giữa sự giao tiếp, sự hài lòng và sự hợp tác trong mối quan hệ nhà sản xuất - nhà phân phối. Ngoài ra, sự giao tiếp có ảnh hưởng mạnh đến sự hài lòng góp phần gia tăng niềm tin cho hai bên.
