Standard costs - common causes of variance analysis at manufacturing enterprises

Abstract
In managerial accounting, standard costs are predetermined unit costs which are used as performance measurement tools. However, there are still differences when evaluating and comparing actual results with standards. This paper addresses this issue at manufacturing enterprises.
