Abstract
This study examines the role of security perception and trust in shaping users' intention to continue using electronic payment systems. Grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), and the theories of security perception and trust, the study employs a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach to analyze data collected from 260 respondents who have experience with electronic payments. The findings reveal that security perception, experience, and trust positively influence both performance expectancy and effort expectancy. Furthermore, these mediating factors significantly impact users' intention to continue adopting electronic payments, offering valuable insights for improving user retention and trust in digital payment platforms
