Analyzing factors influencing gold prices in the United States and predicting future trends using machine learning techniques

The research focuses mainly on factors leading to the increase in gold prices in the United States during the past two decades (2000–2023) and predictions for this precious metal's price fluctuations in the next two quarters. The study identifies the factors that are highly correlated with gold prices and seeks to answer why the price of gold has increased by 5.5 times over the past twenty years. Based on these findings, it enables short-term prediction of gold price movements using the most accurate machine learning model.
