Tác động trực tiếp của thiên tai, biến đổi khí hậu và dịch Covid-19 đã đặt ra nhiều thách thức đối với phát triển du lịch biển bền vững. Sử dụng cách tiếp cận tăng trưởng xanh trong du lịch, bài viết phân tích và xác định mô hình sự kiện thể thao xanh trong du lịch ven biển, với vai trò nâng cao nhận thức, bảo tồn tài nguyên và môi trường biển, mang lại lợi ích kinh tế cho cộng đồng địa phương, đồng thời nâng cao trách nhiệm xã hội của các bên liên quan. Trên cơ sở tổng hợp các nghiên cứu về sự kiện xanh và kinh nghiệm thực tiễn trong phát triển du lịch biển, bài viết đề xuất mô hình phát triển du lịch biển gắn với sự kiện thể thao xanh, bao gồm bốn nội hàm chính: đổi mới sáng tạo, giáo dục, bảo tồn và thực hành xanh.

The direct impacts of natural disasters, climate change, and the COVID-19 pandemic have posed challenges to sustainable coastal tourism development. Based on the green growth in tourism approach, this study analyzes and identifies a model for the development of coastal tourism’s green sports events. These events play a significant role in raising awareness and conserving marine resources and the environment, bringing economic benefits to the local community, and enhancing the social responsibilities of stakeholders. This study also summarizes research results on green events and related practical experiences of coastal tourism. The study’s proposed model of coastal tourism development associated with green sports events has four main contents, including innovation, education, conservation, and green practice.
